Write a Book in a Day

On Monday, 2 September 2024, Bonnyrigg High School had two teams participating in the "Write a Book in a Day" competition. Team Burble, consisting of 9 Year 7 students, and Legacy, comprising 10 Year 8 students, embarked on the challenge. Each group had to craft a short story ranging from 3500 to 5000 words based on a surprise prompt and also include illustrations.

The books created are professionally published and distributed to children's hospital wards. You can access copies of their stories below. Additionally, the students are raising funds for the Children's Cancer Council. If you wish to contribute, the donation link is provided below.
